Castleton Customer Conference

This blog post relates to Castleton, one of our previous brands. For more information please read the press release.

Last week, Castleton hosted its first ever Customer Conference since merging all of the acquired business into a single organisation and since CEO, Dean Dickinson, joined the business.

The focus of the conference was on ‘Transforming Service Delivery’ in the social housing sector and several expert speakers from across the business, partners, customers and guests shared their vision and strategies around this subject.

Held at the top-class conference centre in the DoubleTree by Hilton, Milton Keynes, the 2-day event, was a real success for Castleton, showing the true strength and depth of their fully integrated solutions.

Day one kicked off with ‘A Year in Review’ from the CEO, reflecting on his first 12 months at Castleton, including; the new management structure, challenges and key new business wins.

This was followed by their product and services strategy and customer showcases from Cluid Housing and Co-operative Housing Ireland, both sharing their experience around Castleton’s integrated and cloud delivery.

A thought provoking and eye-opening keynote was delivered by guest speaker Matthew Griffin, Futurist, who inspired everyone with his take on ‘The future of communities’.

A very open and honest Q&A session was held with the Senior Management Team, providing customers with an opportunity to get the answers to the questions that matter most to them.

The highlight of the Day was the showcase of Castleton’s new AI product, which was demonstrated live on stage with the use of Amazon’s Alexa, allowing a customer to raise a repair, find out their rent balance, and much more. Delegates were very excited to see the potential of this solution live in action and couldn’t wait to find out when they can get their hands on it!

The day finished with a dazzling drinks reception and black-tie dinner, hosted by the brilliantly entertaining David Meade, Mentalist. The delegates enjoyed the opportunity to network and unwind in a relaxed environment.

The following day proceeded with more showcases of Castleton’s new solutions including Castleton.DIGITAL, Data Services and their new Business Intelligence solution in partnership with Glantus. All the sessions received positive reviews from the audience; Castleton have already received significant interest in the new solutions and there are already customers lining up to be part of the .DIGITAL ecosystem and beta tests over the coming months!

The rest of day was dedicated to product and service breakout sessions, allowing delegates to discover more about the products and services they don’t already have and also a chance to collaborate with current customers and discuss the roadmaps for the solutions they do have in the product focus groups. Our conference sponsors were also involved in hosting sessions with Data Protection People covering GDPR and Glantus showcasing the Business Intelligence solution.

Glantus received a glowing review on Twitter from delegates from Circle Voluntary HA, “BI and its potential impact, can attach to any data and work with any data to benefit our organisation. So simple to write a report, love it… Same functionality on web and on the desktop.”

The conference also included an exhibition, where delegates could find out more about Castleton’s products and services, as well as the conference sponsors; Glantus, Data Protection People and 10Zig.

There were several prizes to be won over the 2 days for actively contributing to the event and Castleton also held a charity raffle with all proceedings going towards Shelter. Well done to all the prize winners, and many thanks for getting involved.

Castleton would like to thank all attendees, sponsors and guests for supporting the event and look forward to welcoming you back again at our future events.
