Castleton’s renowned Housing Management Solution has been in use for over 20 years in the Social Housing Sector, not only is it well established in the UK but also in Australia.
In 2018, Castleton decided it was time to make the most significant changes to the solution in its history and set out to develop the highly anticipated new version; ‘Housing 2019’ due to be released at the end of the year.
Development Manager, Gary Wheeler was tasked with reinventing Castleton’s Housing Solution to enhance the user experience in line with the latest technology advancements and data regulations. Gary has created a Housing Solution like no other, it is highly customisable, intuitive, and compliant with GDPR.
Gary has summarised what Housing 2019 offers:
“Provides a more fluid experience with an emphasis to deliver easier day to day usage. While empowering customers with the tools necessary to apply customisation to the design during the deployment, implementation stages & the future.
Driving users to the areas of importance, with more visualisations of the data while unifying the look and feel.
Key factors being: Simplicity, Uniformity & Flexibility without sacrificing functionality”
Although Housing 2019 retains are all the core functionality of the previous versions, it has been redesigned to make the processes easier, smarter and faster. Those familiar with the previous versions will need to get acquainted with the new wizard workflow and custom interface, including our staff.
Therefore, Gary is running Housing 2019 sessions for Sales and Implementations staff to take them through the new system and key new features that they will be sharing with customers. The first sessions were held at our Milton Keynes office on 11th September 2018. Sales and Implementations staff in attendance were delighted with the new solution and Gary was able to answer all of their queries prior to the customer release.
